Best food in Crested Butte and all of the staff is extremely nice and phriendly!

Everything was amazing!!! Even my husband loved it and then had dessert!

The Ryder Burger with cream cheese, jalapeños, and marinated pineapple was 10/10. One of the best burgers ever. It’s a must have in CB!

Betsy was the best waitress I've ever had in CB!! Thank you for the amazing service😍🔥🍻⛷🏔🚗👍👍 the food was delicious as well! I had the chicken pasta dish and had shrimp added to it. Was a very filling portion after a day of travel living in my prius. Also the 2 ipas I washed it down with were very tasty as well. Will be back next time I make it to the Butte 🤩

Delicious food and beer. Small place, not many tables, and if its busy you may wait a few minutes but I think it's worth it. Dank sammies!

Took 20 minutes to get a beer. Rice was not cooked through and neither were vegetables. Nice spot.

Food was good. Cajun pasta was huge portion, quite spicy, and had quality, nicely grilled chicken. House salad with balsamic was but extremely fresh and tasty with quick pickles. Young server needed more training. Slow to take order. Kind of indifferent and inattentive. Got one drink and that was it. Food brought by kitchen staff. Server never checked in or asked for another drink order after food was ordered. At the end she grabbed my plate then asked "oh are you done?"...yep. No words of politeness during the interaction. Felt like a tourist commodity. All of this led to several lost drink and dessert sales. I might try it again someday but only after checking out the rest of the town's offerings.

Ask for the backroom. You wont be disappointed. Best night of my life😏😉

What a Elk Ave gem! Cozy bar and restaurant in the busy part of Crested Butte. Fantastic menu items and wonderful vegetarian options too. Great stop to watch sports, hang out or dine. Worth a visit. Pretty good happy hour specials on drinks.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a bite for dinner after snowboarding all day. The fried crawfish was by far our favorite. The habanero sauce that came with it was really good as well. The rest of the food was just okay. I had the crab cake PoBoy, it’s hard for me to gauge a bit since I can’t have the sauces that came with it but seemed a little dry, had some good flavor to it though but I’ve certainly had better. The black beans and rice that also came with it wasn’t too good, was also pretty dry. My boyfriend got a burger that was local grass fed which was paying more for less meat and wasn’t really impressed. He would have rather just gone for more meat no grass fed for cheaper since the burger was just alright. But the drinks were great and the service was fantastic. Little pricey in my opinion for what it was but it’s a Ski town so.

Friendly staff and great appetizers and strong tasty drinks! I'll definitely be back. Bloody Mary bar on Saturday and Sunday runs from 11-4 and comes with a very generous vodka pour. The onion rings are crispy with a yummy dipping sauce. Wings are meaty and not too salty. Artichoke dip is chunky and full of goodies Other mixed drinks have a great kick! Looking forward to becoming a regular patron in this cozy family owned place!

Generous on the liquor pout, but the drinks are good. Also recommend the grasshopper pie. The food looks delicious, but we came for just drinks and dessert.

You are our FAVORITE restaurant in town. Your food is so good and affordable, so I can always talk my hubby into eating out! But more importantly, we have NEVER not felt special in your restaurant. The brothers rock. They hire people who have as much heart as they do. Without fail, your staff has always made us feel human, appreciated, special. You can't beat that! Delicious food and great price point! Tonight we tried the artichoke dip, jerk wings and crabs cakes for appetizers! All fantastic! And had the jerk chicken sandwich for the entree!

This is one of the best burgers (Ryder Burger) I’ve had anywhere, let alone rural Colorado. Servers and bartender - awesome. Super helpful and almost too friendly.. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We ordered takeout and I can’t say enough about the food!!! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and a house salad. The pasta dish was amazing, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the creamy Cajun sauce was delicious. The house salad was fresh and the Italian dressing was superb! I wonder if that is a secret homemade Italian dressing recipe. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again.

Great service and great food! Burger was pretty good, but would have preferred a grilled bun. Saw a lot of food other people ordered that I'd love to try. All in our party were happy with their meals, and the vibe in the restaurant was fun. Service was excellent!

I had the spinach salad and added chicken. My wife had the Caesar and some fancy drink. It was great and delivered with sassy humor by Janna K. Spotted her again today at the street fair with her big old pit. Great patio and people watch too. ✌

Great drinks! The bartender, Dennis, is super personable and really nice. I would come back again just to converse with him. He made my wife an amazing German chocolate cake shot which she loved.

Loved this restaurant! The food was delicious, we had the Ryder burger (so tasty) and the shrimp poboy. The spinach artichoke dip was spectacular. Much different than other restaurants, more vegetables than cheese. Staff were super friendly, we had at least 3 different people checking in on us. Very clean! They had hand sanitizer, masks, social distanced tables. They had a small fee for credit card usage but totally worth it (no fee with cash). Would definitely come back!

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Cajun chicken salad melt was good enough to fly back for. Husband had the special which was tuna tacos. The tuna was seared chunks and looked amazing. Highly recommend this place if you're ever in Crested Butte. They also offer premade meals you can pre-order you can throw in the oven.

Great service, friendly folks. They have gluten free options too. The burgers have always been great.

I have been coming to Crested Butte for over 15 years and The Last Steep is a stable of the town and the best bang for your buck. The menu is so diverse with options for people with a variety of food allergies. The owners and their staff are good people and every time make me feel like I'm part of the family. Best Drinks and Food in Crested Butte. 5/5.

Ate here today. Outstanding service and the food was amazing. Veggie wrap with blackened chicken was good, fish tacos and shrimp tacos great, chicken strips good as well.

Had the crab cakes and the regular burger, while my friend had the chicken salad. It was one of those burgers that was perfectly crisp outside and moist inside, with great, fresh toppings and a toasted bun. More meat than bun, which is always nice. The fries were small, but super crunchy on the outside and had a pillowy, fluffy consistency on the inside. Crab cakes contained a good amount of real crab. Delicious!

Unfortunately a poor experience. My burger was over cooked, the patty was too large, with one piece of cheese and a measly amount of lettuce. Top bun was too large and the bottom bun was soggy. Paired with a insignificant portion of fries, it made for a lackluster experience. However, the staff was wonderful. A laid back and charismatic waiter made the evening much better.

Where the locals eat. This is a great, but small restaurant on the busiest block of Elk Avenue. Park far away and walk there. There is so much fun along the way. Like I said, this place is small. There are only about 3 stools at the bar. So, probably, no large groups. The food is great!

A great menu with easy crowd pleasing meals. Burgers to sweet potato and black bean tacos. It's Family run, and you can tell by the extra care and friendliness you feel. Nice patio for people watching on Elk. :)
